Urban Heritage Walks

The urban walks invite you to dive into the history of urban traces left behind by colonization in the tangible heritage, arts, architecture and toponymy of the city. Each itinerary can be physically followed through the streets of Marseille, individually or in a group. The itineraries can also be consulted online, with each location serving as a point of entry into the imperial history of the city. At each stage, a historical and critical dimension is presented and evaluates the debates and knowledge about a location, theme, event, or object.
